Who can get a Vote Niche account?
If you’re a candidate who wishes to have your own space on VoteNiche.org you’re at the right place.
Vote Niche is open to any local candidate and any state candidate below the top tier. The top tier in state politics includes such positions as state congress, judge, attorney general, or any office which regularly generates significant coverage by the mainstream media. High-level offices have access to enough resources. We’re here to give the smaller voices their time in the public eye.
How do I get an account set up?
Accounts are restricted to registered candidates and elected officials. We offer a special category for “Statesmen”–people who have successfully served in an elected office but who have retired to private life. To get an account set up, e-mail a copy of your registration papers or proof of elected office to admin@voteniche.org or mail them to:

What does the account include?
Each account is assigned a sub-domain. A sub-domain is a section of this site over which you have control. It’s identified by a prefix. For example: smith.voteniche.org A sub-domain acts just like a full domain in almost every way.
Within your sub-domain, we’ll set up a copy of WordPress–a Content Management System and blogging tool which makes updating your site as easy as writing a memo. We’ll include a secure contact form and basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools in the install. You’ll receive an e-mail address (the same as your sub-domain name) and up to 5 aliases for that address.
You’ll be registered in the general forum, and given special rank to identify you as a candidate. And you’ll be given a brief listing in the Candidates Portfolio on the main site.
Behind the scenes, you’ll be given up to 2 hours of free advanced tech-support (a $50 value). Basic tech support (via e-mail) is free. Your account will also benefit from any SEO or web-based advertising that Vote Niche does for the site as a whole.
How much does an account cost?
An account costs $150 per year.
